Portland Feis

Hosted by Murry Irish Dance, they offer an authentic Irish cultural experience for dancers and musicians of all ages. Our goal is to bring Irish traditions to a new generation, keeping this vibrant culture alive and thriving in the Pacific Northwest.  The Portland Feis features dance and costume competitions.  It will be held from Oct. 13 - 14 at the Portland Expo Center's Hall D1: 2060 N. ZooLights

It wouldn’t be the holidays in Portland without a visit to ZooLights, the Oregon Zoo’s annual winter festival.  As you walk around the zoo, you’ll see a dazzling display of more than million and a half lights, and experience your zoo in a whole new light.  In addition to visiting elephants, penguins and other animals, you can ride the popular lighted train and enjoy dinner from a variety of food carts.  Little ones may want to ride the carousel, and Santa will be available at the events through December 23 for photos.  There will be local food carts, special warm drinks and live music as well...More

Umpqua Valley Festival of Lights is an annual tradition in Douglas County, drawing 25,000 visitors per year.  Visitors can enjoy over 500,000 lights and 90 animated displays as you drive through this winter wonderland. The world’s largest nutcracker, Herr Woody Winterguard will be there to welcome you, as well as Santa Claus himself.
