Feast Portland
September 12 - 15

Feast Portland is more than a food and drink festival.  It’s a movement that celebrates the diverse food and beverage community in Portland and around the world.  Feast represents Oregon the incubator: a place where chefs, restaurateurs and entrepreneurs redefine what it means to be a leader in the 21st Century; a think tank where conversations about mindfulness, balance and leadership in food and beverage intersect; and a platform to showcase the most inspiring ideas and personalities from our city, our region, our country and worldwide. Through expansive one-of-a-kind large-scale events, intimate hands-on classes and collaborative dinners and thought-provoking panels, Feast has welcomed guests from around the globe and donated more than $450,000 to hunger relief charities helping to fight hunger in Oregon.  It will be held from Sept. 12 - 15 at various locations within the Portland metro area.  For details, visit feastportland.com.


Mount Angel Oktoberfest
September 12 - 15

Oktoberfest in Mt. Angel is a celebration of the harvest in German style.  Besides great music, food and beer, you can also enjoy a variety of other activities, like a May Pole dance, Pedal tractor Race, Weiner Races, car show, golf tournament, and Volkswalk.  It starts off with a Kick Off Party on Sept. 7 and the main event is from Sept. 12 - 15 at 500 S. Bandon Cranberry Festival
September 13 - 15

The festival celebrates local cranberry farming with entertainment for everyone – live music and performing arts, classic cars and farm equipment, carnival rides, sports, shopping, dining, and contests.  Farmers and artisans strut their stuff at Cranberry City and the Festival Market.  Live music, from rock ‘n’ roll to classic country, will keep you hummin’ all weekend.  The Bandon Cranberry Festival is from Sept. 13 - 15 at Old Town within the Port of Bandon waterfront.  Go to bandon.com.


2019 Cannon Beach Cottage Tour
September 13 - 15

Rose City Comic Con

Portland’s premier pop-culture event, Rose City Comic Con, is produced locally with a focus on creating a fun and friendly event for everyone!  While their primary focus is that of comics, comic creators, and the creative process, it also provides the attendees with access to gaming, sci-fi, cosplay, anime, fantasy, and everything in between.  Fun for the whole family, it will be held from Sept. 13 - 15 at the Oregon Convention Center: 777 NE. El Grito Fiestas Patrias
September 14 - 15

El Grito Fiestas Patrias celebrates the independence of Mexico and other Latin American countries from Spain.  As the Mexican President presents the nation’s traditional El Grito in Mexico City, so too will Portland commemorates Mexico’s independence at the Rose Quarter Commons.  In addition to folkloric and Aztec dancers, live Mariachi, salsa, cumbia, and pop music, there will also be traditional food and beverages, community booths with interactive and educational materials, and the Mexican tradition known as El Grito de Independencia.  It will be held from Sept. 14 - 15 at 1 N. En Plein Art Competition & Exhibit
September 14 - 18

The Josephy Center for Arts and Culture will host a Plein Air painting competition and exhibit September 14 - 18 as part of the Wallowa Valley Festival of Arts.  A reception to celebrate the opening of the exhibit will be held on September 15 from 6 - 8 p.m. Approximately twelve En Plein Air artists will bring their paintings that they’ve created over the last two days to the Josephy Center, located at 403 N. Main St. in Joseph at 3 p.m. for the “Quick Finish”, framing and hanging of their pieces. The “Quick Finish” kicks off the Joseph Art Walk.  Visitors can peruse all the Joseph galleries and enter the drawing for Tom Clevenger’s beautiful wood-segmented vase.  Visit josephy.org.
