Mo's Crab & Chowder Festival
January 26 - 28

Olio Nuovo Festival
November 16 - 18

Diwali: Festival of Lights in Portland
November 17 - 18

Diwali is India's biggest annual festival which celebrates the victory of good over evil, and light over darkness. Whiskey Bar will be decorated with LED candles & there will be a variety of Indian sweets for the early birds to enjoy while supplies last.  Come dressed in vibrant, colorful costumes in the spirit of celebration. Wild Arts Festival
November 17 - 18

Compassionate Thanksgiving Vegan Potluck
Sunday, November 18

Hosted by Northwest VEG, you are invited to their annual potluck to celebrate Thanksgiving.  They recommend that you bring a vegan dish; a card listing its ingredients; a serving utensil for it; and plates, cups, utensils and napkins for your use.  If you come by yourself, figure the amount to serve 8 - 10; increase the amount by 4 servings for each additional person in your party/family.  Northwest VEG will provide beverages.  It will be held on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 4 p.m. at the Oaks Park Dance Pavilion: 7805 SE. ZooLights
November 21 - January 5

It wouldn’t be the holidays in Portland without a visit to ZooLights, the Oregon Zoo’s annual winter festival.  As you walk around the zoo, you’ll see a dazzling display of more than million and a half lights, and experience your zoo in a whole new light.  In addition to visiting elephants, penguins and other animals, you can ride the popular lighted train and enjoy dinner from a variety of food carts.  Little ones may want to ride the carousel, and Santa will be available at the events through December 23 for photos.  There will be local food carts, special warm drinks and live music as well.  ZooLights is from Nov. 21 - Jan. 5 at 4001 SW.
