McMenamins UFO Festival
May 17 - 19

The UFO-curious are invited to the McMenamins UFO Festival for multiple days of fun and mind-expanding opportunities!  Activities include more live music than ever, the always-fun UFO parade, pet costume contest, 5K alien dash, costume ball, a new wine tasting event, a new UFO/alien trivia night, and so much more.  This year's speakers are Jeremy Corbell, UFO phenomena researcher and filmmaker, speaking about the government’s UFO secrecy and Area 51; Randall Nickerson & Ariel School Eyewitnesses talking about an alien craft encounter; and George Knapp, an award-winning journalist and radio host who will reveal new information about Skinwalker Ranch.  The festivities are from May 17 - 19 at Hotel Oregon: 310 NE. 2018 Tillamook County Quilt Show
October 12 - 13

Hosted by the Tillamook County Quilt Guild, this year's theme is called "Memories by the Sea."  The event features the guild's first quilt made for 1976.  You can help make an American Hero Quilt; visitor prizes every half hour, raffle quilt tickets,  and quilts for sale.   It will be held from Oct. 12 - 13 at City Hall in Bay City that is along North Hwy. 101.  Times are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.  Admission is $5 each, Children 12 and under are FREE.  It's family fun for all.  Call (503) 440-1829. 

Dance Like a Mother
