Confluence Story Gathering
Saturday, February 16

Confluence Story Gatherings elevate Indigenous voices that help us connect more deeply to place. Join along for the first Story Gathering of 2019, with special guest speakers Tanna Engdahl, Cowlitz Spiritual Leader, Carol Craig, Yakama Reporter and David Lewis, Grand Ronde Historian.  First-person story telling has a unique power to deepen our understanding of the histories, cultures and environment.  Confluence Story Gatherings are welcoming forums that feature the stories, experiences and teachings of native elders and leaders as a way to explore the interconnectedness of people and places of the Columbia River system.  It will be held from 4 - 6 p.m. at 1109 East 5th St. in Vancouver.  Visit www.confluenceproject.org.
