Cherryfest NW
July 4 - 7

Cherryfest NW will take place from July 4-7 at Riverfront Park with FREE admission on the Fourth of July, as well as on Sunday, July 7th.  Admission on Saturday is $5.  Cherryfest NW will include live music, brews, ciders & spirits, a variety of food vendors, a carnival, a Kid Zone and 4th of July fireworks.  On July 3rd, Budweiser is bringing the King of Country concert featuring Tracy Lawrence.  Tickets for the concert are $25 and can be purchased at TicketTomato.com.  Additionally, through a partnership with Titanium Racing, the Salem Stars and Stripes Run will include a 5k and 10k run and a ½ mile run for kids 12 and under that will finish at Cherryfest NW.  On the Fourth of July, crowd favorite, Scott Tom will emcee and host family-friendly games such as hula hoop contests, a water balloon toss, limbo contests, and much more.  To learn more, go online to www.cherryfestnw.com.

   Cascade Festival of African Films
January 31 - February 29

In celebration of Black History Month, the Cascade Festival of African Films shows us Africa through the eyes of Africans, rather than a vision of Africa packaged for Western viewers. It's five weeks of more than 30 feature, documentary and short films by established and emerging African directors from 18 countries.  The films celebrate Africa's achievements, expose its failures, and reveal possibilities for a hopeful future.  The annual festival is from Jan. 31 - Feb. 29 at two locations in Portland: PCC Cascade's Moriarty Arts & Humanities Building, Rm. 104 at the Hollywood Theatre.  More online at africanfilmfestival.org

Antique & Collectibles Week
February 8 - 17

With the Lincoln City Chamber Super Auction to be a fun kick-off to Antique & Collectibles Week.  Be sure to grab an Antique & Collectibles Week map and get them signed off from each one of the listed businesses to put into a drawing for a grand prize!  Also, Vintage Valentine crafting at the Cultural Center on Feb. 9th.  There will be a special Japanese Glass Float drop along the Lincoln City 7 Mile Beach.  The Antique & Collectibles Week runs from Feb 8th - Feb 17th, 2020!

February 15 & 22

Beer lovers rejoice! Zwickelmania returns for its 12th year on Saturday, Feb. 15 in Portland, and statewide on Saturday, Feb. 22.  Zwickelmania is a celebration of the Oregon craft beer scene.  More than 100 breweries across the state open their doors for tours, tastings, meet-the-brewer sessions, and, of course, free samples.  This FREE event runs from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. both Saturdays.  This year, Zwickelmania will run concurrently with Oregon Craft Beer Month.  This month-long celebration will include tap takeovers, beer festivals, panel discussions and more.  For details, go to oregoncraftbeer.org

PDX Jazz Festival
February 19 - March 1

The PDX Jazz Festival is a multi-venue series of jazz events presented each February within Portland.  You can enjoy performances of international, national, regional and local jazz artists on six stages.  They will also have educational workshops, jazz conversations, jam sessions, and student art.  The festivities are from Feb. 19 - March 1 at various venues throughout the Portland metro area.  More online at pdxjazz.com.

Portland International Auto Show
February 20 - 23

The Portland International Auto Show is the largest auto show in the Pacific Northwest. Little Art Camas

Join your art-loving friends for Little Art Camas! Come enjoy, buy and support local art!  What is Little Art Camas? It’s a 2-day community exhibition of original small-scale artworks created by local artists. All ages and skill levels welcome.  All artists will create art on 3 “little” panels and these will be showcased at the exhibit on February 21st and 22nd and all sales benefit downtown public art efforts!  The event will have music, drinks, goodies, art demos and an art silent auction to to add to the fun. Medford Sportsmen's Show is Packed with Adventure
February 21 - 23

The 20th annual Newswatch 12 Sportsmen's & Outdoor Recreation Show, presented by Bi-Mart, will be packed with adventure at the Jackson County Expo in Central Point, February 21 - 23, 2020.  The show features the Megabirds live daily shows; Combat Hero Bike Build will bring an incredibly unique bike for a severely wounded combat veterans; and guests can sign up to win our Greatest Giveaways ever including a Polaris Rzr; Smoker Craft boat, motor, trailer; package; Apex travel trailer; Gold Beach Fishing Getaway; Fishing Kayak Package; Surf Perch Fishing Adventure and many more.  The show is jam-packed with 100s of exhibits, displays and attractions representing the breadth of the outdoor recreation industry including fan favorites: the Seven Feathers Big Game Room with the latest Oregon Record Book display, new Tour of NW Big Game and the 2020 Head & Horns Competition. McMinnville Short Film Festival

Art in Nature: Camerata in a Cave
Saturday, February 22

Super talented local a Cappella group Bend Camerata will perform at Pronghorn Resort inside a cave!  After a 3/4 mile walk, we’ll arrive at a stunning 80,000 year-old cave in a location most have never witnessed. One will be greeted by crackling bonfires and a guided interpretive tour of the cave.  We’ll settle inside this magical acoustic wonder for a vocal concert. Brazilian Carnaval Ball

The 8th installment of the Brazilian Carnaval Ball takes over the Crystal Ballroom with the first-ever all-ages installment of the annual Portland celebration.  This year's theme of "Infinite Light" brings music from Bloco Alegria, Mandela Dance, Maracatu PDX, and DJ Dìgo Dalí, along with an appearance from the Oregon Country Fair costume group, Risk of Change, as well as a few special guests.  The special event is on Saturday, Feb. 22, 7 p.m. at 1332 W.
