12th Annual Tokeland-North Cover Art Studio Tour
Saturday, April 14

Spend an afternoon exploring some of the more remote and scenic Washington Coast that has inspired world renowned artists during the 12th annual Tokeland-North Cove Art Studio Tour beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 14. This exclusive peak into artists' private studios provides a rare opportunity to not just meet the creators in person but to see where and how artists like Jeffro Uitto, Judith Altruda, Wally Mann, Melody Gerber and others create their works. There will be demonstrations of traditional carving tools and techniques by Earl Davis in Tokeland as well as live glassblowing in North Cove by Jeremy Bartheld. Along with the open studios there will be several local artists with works on display and available for sale at both the historic Tokeland Hotel and the Shoalwater Bay Tribal Center. This day of celebrating art and community continues with an art auction at 5 p.m. at the Tradewinds on the Bay event center to support the Ocosta School District art program and the Wash Away No More initiative.  Tickets for this fundraising event are $20, available at the door, and include wine, beer and heavy appetizers.  To learn more, visit their Facebook page.
