Soirée April in Paris

The Alliance Française of Portland presents its annual fundraiser gala on April 21 at the Multnomah Athletic Club, located at 1849 SW. Salmon St. in Portland, from 6 - 10 p.m.  The event includes a seated dinner with a French menu created by James Beard Award-winning chef Philippe Boulot and entertainment by local theatre luminaries Susannah Mars and Rebecca Kilgore.  The highlight of the evening is a live auction which offers a French immersion in Villefranche on the French Riviera and properties in France, among others.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with wine and hors d'oeuvres during the silent auction with everything from to wine tastings to restaurant certificates to custom-built wine racks.  Visit afportland.org for more information.  Tickets are $75 for Alliance or MAC members, $85 for non-members.  Call the Alliance at 503-223-8388 or reserve online here.
