SE Area ARTWalk
March 3 - 4

The SE Area ARTWalk is a FREE, self-guided walking tour.  You will visit the studios, home workspaces, galleries, host homes and businesses within the walkable/bikeable/busable boundaries of SE 9th Ave, SE 41st,  SE Powell and SE Hawthorne Blvd. in Portland.  The event is March 3 - 4,  Sat. and Sun., from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Over 80 artists will provide a blaze of colors, shapes, textures, and visual stimuli.  Artists show in their own creative space or are hosted by local residents and businesses allowing you to visit indoor locations.  What to Expect: You will be able to talk with local artists, buy amazing items, and view an array of locally-created work.  We have worked hard to enhance cluster areas so the tour is walkable and/or bikeable. Hood River Valley Blossom Time

Lilac Days at Hulda Klager Gardens

Each year, thousands of visitors step back in time to discover the 1880's Victorian Farmhouse and country gardens that comprise the Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens.  To showcase the site, the Gardens and historic buildings have been lovingly maintained by the Hulda Klager Lilac Society, a nonprofit volunteer organization.  With the help of our volunteers and members, the Society continues to carry on the work of growing and showing the beautiful lilacs including those hybridized by Hulda Klager many decades ago...More
