Northwest Quilters "Festival of Quilts"
May 11 - 12

Over 300 quilts and special exhibits are on display.  They'll have Quilts of Valor, Bid and Buy booth, Small Quilt raffle, numerous vendors, including their show sponsor Montavilla Sewing Centers.  This year's featured quilter is Kathie Kerler.  Her works will be on display for the entire show.  Judged is a word they don’t like to use. The quilts will be evaluated by a selected panel of Northwest Quilters members.  The 2018 challenge quilt theme is “Festival of Quilts.”  There will be (2) prize baskets (donated mdse by the members of Northwest Quilters Inc) one (1) given away each day of the show. Winner need not be present to win.  Their raffle quilt “Spice Market” Vicky Wozniak pieced by Joy Nichols, Nancy Tubbs, Kathy Anderson and Brenda Youngston, Machine quilted by Robin Hill. Cost of raffle tickets is $1.00 each.  Drawing will be on the last day of the show, winner need not be present.  Silent Auction we call Bid and Buy.  Various quilting products, some new some used, possibly a small quilt or two or three.  Food will be available onsite.  It will be held from May 11 - 12, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Portland Expo Center, Hall E-1: 2060 N. Harvest Nights Car Cruise

The 7th Annual Harvest Nights Car Cruise, presented by Dan's Tractor, is a spectacular gathering of the community enjoying more than 400 classic and custom cars.  They'll also have a beer garden and band performing.  This closed-in cruise event is on Friday, July 20 along Main St. in Battle Ground, from 6:30 - 10 p.m.  Visit www.harvestnightscarcruise.com.  


Dory Days Festival
July 20 - 22

This is a celebration of the local dory fishing culture unique to Pacific City.  Festivities kick off with the Dory Days Parade that is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.  The parade starts at Bob Straub State Park and works it’s way into downtown Pacific City.  Other events throughout the weekend includes live music, kids activities, fish fry and more. West Linn Old Time Fair

Cruise the Couve

This is a FREE event for all that features twenty-two blocks of cruising and entertainment!  Check out local participating businesses for specials while watching more than 1,000 classic cars and hot rods cruise up and down Main Street.  There will also be entertainment, giveaways, food and more.  Cruise the Couve is on Saturday, July 21, from 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. along Main St. in downtown Vancouver.  Go to cruisethecouve.net
