McMenamins UFO Festival
May 17 - 19

The UFO-curious are invited to the McMenamins UFO Festival for multiple days of fun and mind-expanding opportunities!  Activities include more live music than ever, the always-fun UFO parade, pet costume contest, 5K alien dash, costume ball, a new wine tasting event, a new UFO/alien trivia night, and so much more.  This year's speakers are Jeremy Corbell, UFO phenomena researcher and filmmaker, speaking about the government’s UFO secrecy and Area 51; Randall Nickerson & Ariel School Eyewitnesses talking about an alien craft encounter; and George Knapp, an award-winning journalist and radio host who will reveal new information about Skinwalker Ranch.  The festivities are from May 17 - 19 at Hotel Oregon: 310 NE. Harvest Nights Car Cruise

The 7th Annual Harvest Nights Car Cruise, presented by Dan's Tractor, is a spectacular gathering of the community enjoying more than 400 classic and custom cars.  They'll also have a beer garden and band performing.  This closed-in cruise event is on Friday, July 20 along Main St. in Battle Ground, from 6:30 - 10 p.m.  Visit www.harvestnightscarcruise.com.  


Dory Days Festival
July 20 - 22

This is a celebration of the local dory fishing culture unique to Pacific City.  Festivities kick off with the Dory Days Parade that is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.  The parade starts at Bob Straub State Park and works it’s way into downtown Pacific City.  Other events throughout the weekend includes live music, kids activities, fish fry and more. Cruise the Couve

This is a FREE event for all that features twenty-two blocks of cruising and entertainment!  Check out local participating businesses for specials while watching more than 1,000 classic cars and hot rods cruise up and down Main Street.  There will also be entertainment, giveaways, food and more.  Cruise the Couve is on Saturday, July 21, from 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. along Main St. in downtown Vancouver.  Go to cruisethecouve.net
