Crafts on the Coast 21st Annual Spring Arts & Crafts Festival

Start your vacationing with a visit to Yachats, the Gem of the Oregon Coast, on May 26 - May 27, for the Crafts on the Coast 21st Annual Spring Arts & Crafts Festival. This premiere juried arts & crafts event is held inside the Yachats Commons, a charming, refurbished vintage elementary school.  You will find room after room and hallway filled to bursting with nearly 70 of the best artisans from the Pacific Northwest offering a variety of interesting, unique, functional, fun must-haves for yourself and gifts for others on your list.  Fun attractions at this family-friendly event include craft demonstrations, free tastings of the gourmet food, massage and community booths. Admission and Parking are FREE.  Join us Saturday, May 26, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., and Sunday, May 27, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., inside the Yachats Commons, 441 Highway 101 at W. 4th St. in Yachats.  The beautiful town of Yachats is located midway between Newport and Florence.  There's lots more fun things to do in Yachats this weekend: the Yachats Ladies Club Pie Social is Saturday, the Lion's Club Pancake Breakfast is on Sunday and the Yachats Sunday Farmers Market is on 4th St. on the South side of the Commons.  Make sure to visit our local shops, restaurants and galleries and remember to walk on the beautiful beaches.  For more information, call (541) 547-4738.

Harvest Nights Car Cruise

The 7th Annual Harvest Nights Car Cruise, presented by Dan's Tractor, is a spectacular gathering of the community enjoying more than 400 classic and custom cars.  They'll also have a beer garden and band performing.  This closed-in cruise event is on Friday, July 20 along Main St. in Battle Ground, from 6:30 - 10 p.m.  Visit www.harvestnightscarcruise.com.  


Dory Days Festival
July 20 - 22

This is a celebration of the local dory fishing culture unique to Pacific City.  Festivities kick off with the Dory Days Parade that is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.  The parade starts at Bob Straub State Park and works it’s way into downtown Pacific City.  Other events throughout the weekend includes live music, kids activities, fish fry and more. Cruise the Couve

This is a FREE event for all that features twenty-two blocks of cruising and entertainment!  Check out local participating businesses for specials while watching more than 1,000 classic cars and hot rods cruise up and down Main Street.  There will also be entertainment, giveaways, food and more.  Cruise the Couve is on Saturday, July 21, from 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. along Main St. in downtown Vancouver.  Go to cruisethecouve.net
